Next week kicks off Red Ribbon Week: a week we promote a drug free zone. Student Council is sponsoring a fun spirit week. Here are the days:
Monday: Put drugs to rest-wear your PJs
Tuesday: Ain't no shame in my flannel and drug free game-wear your comfy flannel
Wednesday: There's no competition about it. Drugs suck-wear WVU or Marshall and see which one wins
Thursday: Go red and put a stop to drugs-Wear your red or Poca gear
Friday: scare the spook out of drugs-wear your favorite Halloween shirt.

PHS National Honor Society is hosting a Blood Drive tomorrow.
Students who signed up to donate need to bring their photo ID!
Students who are 16 years old or younger need to bring their signed Parental Consent Form.
We encourage all donors to hydrate and eat a filling breakfast.

Homecoming class shirts are ready and can be picked up in Mrs. Wright's room (102A). There are a LIMITED number of extra shirts that students may purchase for $12 if you did not order one. First come, first served!

Dear Families:
Your student will be bringing home state assessment results today if he/she took the WV General Summative Assessment: grades 3-8, the WV Alternate Student Assessment: grades 3-8, or the SAT School Day exam for grade 11 last spring. In addition, you and your student will also be receiving an email with a link to a video score report for WVGSA or WV SAT only. The video link is being sent to the student email account and the parent email on file with your student. Please have your student check the student email account to find the link. Simply copy the link into your web browser and use your student’s birthdate to open the video score report.
If you do not receive printed score reports OR if you have difficulty opening the video report, please contact the school for assistance.
